Adam Lambert’s ‘Fantabuloso’ Night in Chicago

Just after the release of his newest album, Adam Lambert took the stage at the 103.5 KISS FM 2012 Fantabuloso concert in Chicago, Illinois on Friday (May 18).

The former ?American Idol? contestant took the stage in one of his wild and fun outfits that included black skinny pants, a leopard print shirt and black blazer while singing his heart out at the Allstate Arena performance.

Before heading into the arena, the 30-year-old took to his Twitter page to amp up excitement tweeting, ?You ready Chicago!? #Fantabuloso.?

In other career news, Lambert?s second studio album ?Trespassing? was just released on May 15th and made it?s way to number one on the iTunes charts. Showing appreciation to his fans, Adam wrote on his social page penning, ?Wow!! #Trespassing is sitting nice and high on the itunes chart! What a great sight to wake-up to! Thank you all for checking it out!!?

After falling from the top spot the pop singer is now urging his fans to get the album back up sharing, ?Let’s get #Trespassing to #1 on @iTunes! Once we get there, I?ll give you a sneak peak of the NCOE video!?

There’s no denying the impossibly dazzling appeal of the high carat weight diamond rings, bracelets, brooches, earrings, fine watches, objets de vertu, elegant compacts, cigarette cases, and compacts, representing the Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Modern eras. But last evening, during the course of an exhibition preview at the famed auction house, it was obvious that the real life gems were Isabel and Ruben Toledo, the impossibly talented duo, who where there to celebrate the publication of:

Talk about a labor of love. While the prolific and creative couple make beautiful music together on a regular basis, are always in perfect harmony with one another, and have successfully collaborated on many things in life, this is their first book. And as anyone who has put pen to paper knows, writing can truly be a labor of love (often times without the love part). 6 months in the making, the end product is yet another example of just how in sync this couple is, as Ruben’s artwork makes Isabel’s words truly come alive.

Isabel told me that she wrote all her notes in longhand (rather than computerize them), and it was only when Ruben said “I have the perfect illustration to go along with that thought”, that it was included in the final edit. In the introduction, Isabel describes the entire writing process as a “vulnerable and intimate undertaking, not unlike the process of making clothes”. She goes on to say that style and fashion “inspires optimism” for her, and gives her the tools to communicate. She also observes that “fashion is what time looks like”, and admits that when Michelle Obama wore her coat and dress “on that gloriously frozen Inauguration Day, I was woven into time and into history itself”.

This is a very revealing and personal look inside the life, mind, and soul of one of our generation?s most revered fashion designers. Isabel hopes to inspire those who read it to “follow their instincts, trust their individuality, and discover their own personal style signature”. Speaking of individuality and style, the subject of Raf Simons, (Dior’s new designer), came up and the Toledos said he is a friend and they agree it is a wonderful choice. I for one, completely concur as I have always been a big fan of Mr. Simons’. I appreciate his aesthetic, which has been consistent from the start. His designs are always beautiful, smart, chic, supremely luxurious in a most modern way, and perfectly balanced, and he never demeans or insults women. He is never funny or ironic, as so many other designers can be (and we know who they are, right?)

Tip confirms second remix in the works for track, which previously featured a remix verse from Andre 3000.

Ke$ha's already gotten "Sleazy" with Andre 3000. Now, a few more rappers want to get dirty with the glittery pop singer.

XXLmag.com reports that T.I. plans to jump on the track, and Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa will also be joining Andre and Tip on a new version of "Sleazy."

Weezy should be a welcome addition to Ke$ha's dance tune, as it sounds somewhat like Wayne's single "A Milli." And while not much else is known about the remix, T.I. promised that he's going to go big with his verse.

"I haven't heard anybody but mine. … I'm gonna put my money on mine," the newly freed rapper, who ended an 11-month prison sentence in September, told the website.

The Andre 3000 remix dropped earlier this year and appears on K-Dollar Sign's album Cannibal. The guys will have a lot of swagger to compete with because when Andre appeared on the first remix, he had this to say: "We start out so cute in our baby pictures/ That mama shot for our daddy so that he wouldn't forget you/ He forgot anyway, but hey, one day he'll remember/ If not, he's human, I'm human, you human, we'll forgive him/ I call her Keisha, she like it because it's 'hood to her/ She call me Andre 6000 because I'm good to her."

Tip told XXLmag.com that his appearance on the Ke$ha song is just one of many remixes he's amped about. He has also worked on remixes for Meek Mill and Rick Ross's "Ima Boss," as well as Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne song "N—as in Paris."

"I'm looking for some more records to jump on," he said. "That's what I'm doin' right now. I'm commandeering hit records right now. I'm hijacking hit records. If you got a hit, I'm on it."
